Afro Jazz/ Neo SoulFunk

I am a British Nigerian who toured nationwide with my first band "KRASH" while still studying for my 1st degree in the 90s. I have toured and recorded extensively as a backing vocalist to many international greats, as well as with my own band "SOLE FUNKTION", and later "EARTHLIGHT", consistently over decades. Our live shows are known for their high energy and infectious grooves.

Our music is a mix of modern jazz, afro jazzy funk and soul, with modern influences. I have released two albums, with our latest one, 'Funkify Your Life', in the making and featuring exciting collaborations with well-loved musicians. Our music will soon be available on all major streaming platforms.

Check out our tour dates (published soon!) to see when we'll be playing in a city near you. We have toured extensively in the UK and Europe and have played at major festivals such as Jazz Fest and Bonnaroo, and in all major Hamburg Live Summer Concerts. We can't wait to see you at our next show!
